A Letter to My Children, Grandchildren, and Spiritual Children

Dear Beloved Children, Grandchildren, and Spiritual Children

I want post something on my blog for my children, grandchildren, and spiritual children that will last beyond my years.

As I reflect on the incredible blessing of having each of you in my life, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and joy. Each of you is a unique seed, beautifully designed by God, carrying within you a divine purpose that only you can fulfill. Watching you grow into that purpose has been one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences of my life.

It has been my privilege to metaphorically water and nurture you as you’ve grown. Whether through guidance, humor, encouragement, or simply being present, I’ve sought to provide the nourishment you need to flourish. Like a gardener tending a garden, I’ve prayed for the rain of God’s Spirit to refresh you, for the sunlight of His truth to guide you, and for the soil of your life to remain rich in faith and love.

Each of you grows at your own pace, in your own way, shaped by the hands of God. Your individual journeys remind me of His infinite creativity and the beautiful diversity of His plans. No two paths are alike, yet all are precious, significant, and deeply connected to His greater purpose.

To my children and grandchildren: You carry the legacy of our family. The seeds of love, faith, and wisdom that have been planted in you are a reflection of God’s work through generations. I marvel at the ways you are stepping into your unique callings and pray continually that you will walk boldly and confidently in His will.

To my spiritual children: It is one of the greatest honors of my life to walk alongside you as you discover and grow into the purpose God has for you. You are a reminder of His redemptive power and the beauty of discipleship. My hope is that you continue to grow strong, not only for your own sake but as a light to others, extending His Kingdom in the places where He has planted you.

Know that as I pour into you, I, too, am continually learning from you. Your faith inspires my faith; your joy ignites my own joy. I am reminded daily of the goodness of God through the privilege of being a part of your lives.

As you continue to grow, remember this: You are never alone. The same God who planted the seed of purpose within you will water it, nurture it, and bring it to full bloom. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and let His Spirit guide you in all things.

To my knowledge and hope. I’m not leaving here anytime soon, I just wanted to put this out here now as I think about it.

Remember, you’re getting better everyday!

With all my love, prayers, and encouragement,

Jeff

(Your Dad, Pa, and Spiritual Father)
